Please note that the following classes will be cancelled for the long weekend and for special events:

On Saturday Septmeber 11th the regular 3pm class is cancelled for the HIP HOP YOGA ­event - be sure to check it out!


Also, please note that the community class on September 12th at 3pm is cancelled due to the Urban Retreat with Michael Stone.

Class Descriptions:
At Moksha Yoga Waterloo, students of all levels and ability are honoured for their unique differences, limitations, and talents. All classes are suitable for both the beginner and experienced yogi alike, so please come in and explore!

Moksha Silent (75 min) - The silent class is the traditional moksha yoga series, practiced in
silence. The class is guided, without verbal instruction, by an instructor practicing the series at the front of the room. The class allows the student to explore the depths of their own practice by providing an opportunity to investigate the sensations of the body and the breath more fully. It is a chance to really feel the practice without auditory distraction.

Moksha class (90 min) - 40 poses practiced in a heated room designed to promote openness through your hips and strength through the upper body while detoxifying your entire body. Both standing and seated poses are practiced.

Moksha class (75 min) - The regular Moksha series condensed into 75 minutes.

Moksha class (60 min) - The regular Moksha series condensed into one hour. The poses flow together with fewer pauses than the 90 minute class creating a vigorous, fun and quick class. Perfect for those on the go! Great for beginners.

Community class (60 min) - The regular Moksha series condensed into one hour and taught by newly trained, certified Moksha teachers. Offered for $5. Great for beginners. These classes will resume when new teachers are in training.

Karma class - By donation ($5 min). Funds raised go to local charities. (No passes) Suitable for all levels.

Yang/Yin - Moksha & Yin class offering a great Yang (Moksha) invigorating workout - followed by restorative, relaxing Yin postures.

Ashtanga - Ashtanga is a progressive heat building practice that focuses on strength, concentration and flexibility. The Ashtanga system of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with purposeful movement in order to purify and strengthen the body and mind.

Vinyasa - Vinyasa, meaning "flowing with breath" is a hot yoga class with a creative sequence of postures.


Please note:
* All classes are 90 minutes long unless otherwise indicated and are open to all levels of experience.
* Simply drop in! Reservations are not necessary.
* Arrive 15 minutes prior to class time (even earlier for Karma classes...), to honour everyone's schedule and to maintain a consistent class atmosphere latecomers not permitted.
* Bring a bath towel, yoga mat and bottle of water (all available - to rent or to buy). Click here for more info.
