Most of us struggle with balancing the demands of life while maintaining a yoga practice. Michael Stone will guide us through practices and discussions to explore practical ways to deepen our yoga practice on and off the mat. We'll explore how to avoid burn-out and a loss of motivation in yoga practice and in life. We'll learn how to bring the teachings of yoga alive in our daily lives.
Michael Stone is a psychotherapist in private practice, lecturer, yoga teacher and author. He co-leads the Centre of Gravity Sangha, a community of Yoga & Buddhist practitioners in Toronto and travels internationally, teaching in academic, yoga studio and conference settings. His research and teaching explore the intersection of committed spiritual practice and social action.
We're going to be carpooling from the studio on Sunday to head into Toronto for the event.
For the New Year, we are adding another introductory special! You can now purchase TWO weeks of unlimited yoga for $30!
* 1 week unlimited for $20 is still a valid option
* Offer applies once to new and current members
* Does not need to be purchased prior to first class at the studio

The energy exchange program at Moksha Yoga Waterloo is a wonderful opportunity for students to be involved in the studio community and receive the benefits of yoga in return for their efforts. It works like this...You volunteer four hours of your time on the same day at the same time once a week helping to clean the studio (collect mats, vacuum, wash the floors etc...) and in exchange you can receive unlimited classes - it's also a great way to get to know your teachers and a good way to get your foot in the door for any salaried positions as they open up.
We do require that any applicants maintain a consistent practice at the studio. If you are interested in this program please send an email to the studio requesting the application letter, which you must fill out and return by email to a studio director who will set up an interview with you. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to call or email us.
As the studio grows, Moksha Yoga Waterloo is planning to incorporate many special events that may include workshops, weekend retreats, kirtans, and more. We're also going to respond to YOU our future community so if an idea comes to mind - send it along to info@mokshayogawaterloo.com and introduce yourself. |
